Overview

Studio CL is a design office established in 2016 by Jek Fong Charles Lee to engage in the rethinking and realisation of the built environment.

We believe that how we intervene in the various spaces we occupy in our lives will in turn affect how those spaces inform our lives. 

As a practice we encourage collaboration across disciplines and think that the best responses are borne out of continued research, discussion and experimentation.

Our studio is experienced in a variety of project types including: commercial, residential, retail, healthcare and institutional. Location of projects current and past includes America, China, Hong Kong, India and the UK.

Biography

Charles have worked in architecture and interiors for close to a decade in America, the UK, Singapore, India and Hong Kong on a range of private and public projects prior to establishing Studio CL.

Having lived and immersed in a diversity of cultures and environments Charles brings with him a uniquely informed perspective when confronted with any given brief.     

He majored in economics at the University of Chicago and holds a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
