St. Bartholomew's Hospital

Client: National Health Service
Location: London, UK
Contract Sum: GBP 1.1 billion
Status: Completed

Participated in project as team member at HOK London, UK

The largest government hospital scheme in UK history, this project consists of two new hospitals with a combined 1248 beds on separate sites in London.

The Barts is a 77,000 sq. m new construction which connects with an existing listed building. The London is formed of two new linked 17 story towers.

I began with this office supporting the design architect with computer renderings, photomontages and line drawings for both buildings; subsequently I was assigned to focus on the final design of the Barts and its construction documentation.

My tenure saw through completion of the roof drawing package, various renovation works and have oversaw the ground level parking plus landscaping and the underground energy centre to the entire hospital.
